How we got started.

Hostking was founded in 2011

We started small and humble, we still are humble. Our aim was to build an automated platform that would make Shared and VPS hosting fast and simple. And we did. In a world where time is literally money, we wanted our customers to save on both by providing them a fast Shared and Cloud hosting platform with enough features to virtually do anything. And then it all just happened, we grew up fast. Suddenly our small little company turned into a well-recognized Hosting provider known for our amazing customer support. Without successful clients, we wouldn’t be around, which is what pushes us to provide the best service possible without compromising on quality or features. “Your success is our success.”

2011

A humble beginning

After almost ten years in the web hosting industry, our co-founder gathered a small team of three to start working on a new project called Hostking – a privately funded cPanel-based cloud hosting service provider with three key features in mind – support, security, and performance.

2014

Alot of hard work

From a small team of three in 2014, we entered 2015 as a small company of 5 people working in a tiny, overcrowded office. It was time to seize the moment and start scaling to meet the growing demand and customer base needs.

2016

Officia Deserunt

A fresh new website, a brand new portfolio, a new datacenter and a lot of new people joining our team – just a few things that changed in 2016 for us. By the end of the year, we had over 2000 clients and more employees (so we left our cozy small office for a much spacier one :).

2018

Milestone galore

We reached a few important milestones through 2018 – 4,000 active clients, 10+ cloud nodes and a team of 12 employees. With a new more competitive pricing model and updated hosting plans, Hostking was permanently established as one of the leading cloud-based shared hosting providers with many exciting new projects to look forward to in 2019 and beyond.
